Dr. Sung Eun (Susie) Kim is a prosthodontist, focusing her career on the combination of full mouth rehabilitation, implant, and aesthetic dentistry. Her interest in dentistry started when she was a social work associate in a federally qualified health center working with patients from all three different departments: dental, medical, and mental health. During this formative year after college, she witnessed how powerfully oral health can transform a person’s overall well-being and self-esteem. She loves being a prosthodontist because they often serve as the “quarterback” of a patient’s overall dental treatment with a team of other specialists that may include periodontists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, and endodontists. She is grateful that as a prosthodontist, she gets to do life-changing dentistry that allows her to connect deeply with people from all walks of life!

After completing her undergraduate degree in chemistry at Bryn Mawr College, Dr. Kim earned her dental doctorate at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Her love for providing comprehensive care led her to Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she trained an extra three years to specialize in prosthodontics. There, she served as the chief resident, received the prestigious award from the Society for Color and Appearance in Dentistry, and graduated with a Masters in Medical Sciences. She joined the American College of Prosthodontics (ACP) and is currently pursuing her Board Certification for Prosthodontics. In addition to ACP, she is also a member of the NJ Dental Association and American Dental Association.

Outside of the dental office, Dr. Kim loves hanging out with her family and friends. She loves all cats and dogs but especially Mango, her orange tabby cat rescued from the mean streets of Los Angeles. In her spare time, she really enjoys working out at Orangetheory, journaling, and snowboarding!
