Dr. Monjir Bakshi is a caring, compassionate and highly-skilled prosthodontist serving the community of New York City and New Jersey. Originally from Philadelphia, Dr. Bakshi attended the University of Pennsylvania, where she received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine. She then moved to New York City to complete an additional three-year full time residency in Prosthodontics and received her Masters degree in Oral Biology at Columbia University.
As a prosthodontist, Dr. Bakshi is a specialized dentist, uniquely trained in diagnosis, restoration, and replacement of missing teeth. She is an expert in full-mouth reconstructive cases, esthetic smile makeovers, dental implants, crown and bridges, and fixed or removable dentures. In addition, Dr. Bakshi possesses an in-depth knowledge of the latest dental materials and state-of-the-art dental technology in order to ensure patients receive highly esthetic outcomes and long-term success.
Dr. Bakshi is considered an expert in the field of digital dentistry and implant restorations and frequently lectures to local dental study clubs and meetings on a wide range of topics. Dr. Bakshi is a member of the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, and Northeastern Gnathological Society.
In her spare time, Dr. Bakshi enjoys spending time with friends and family, painting and volunteering her time to local charities.
